Teaching

Classes, workshops, projects

For professional dancers, students and adults

In my teaching and choreographing I use mind and body practices as tools to guide people through a journey to connect to their inner joy, creativity and expressivity, encouraging them to empower themselves by inspiring curiosity and self- exploration.

International teaching includes: The Place in London, Tanzfabrik in Berlin, IDOCDE Impulstanz Vienna, Choreographic centre in Grenoble: Jean Claude Gallotta, World Dance Alliance, Dance Academy Russia, Goldsmiths University, Northern School of Contemporary Dance…

Classes

Contemporary Dance

This physical and technical class mixes exploratory tasks with set material, working with shifting weight, floor and acrobatic work, spirals, movement quality and dynamics, to engage the whole body as a physical instrument within a poetic landscape.

Workshops

Projects

Creative dance as a tool against violence is a socio-educational project, a collaboration with Paula Rechtman, carried out in Mexico and Burkina Faso

‘Your CI class was the second one for me and even if I can be quiet shy as a person I felt very comfortable on the space and with the other persons. This because you starter with a small exercises that made me feel more confident and conscious about my body and the space around it. I think these little and short exercises and instruction are very helpful for beginners before to start the jam.’ Silvia
