🧑🤝🧑👫 How does gender come into your dance? Many of us experience tremendous liberation from the constraints of gender roles through contact improv.
🌞 This playshop from Marie Chabert and Dr. Noah Martin will explore ways to bring that kind of freedom into the rest of your life and your relationships, as well as how we can open ourselves up to greater self-expression and deeper ways of relating to each other in the dance space.
✨This playshop will involve:
-movement games to help reveal ways that gender shapes patterns of movement and ways of relating
-philosophical ideas to help us understand the role of gender in our lives
-space for self-reflection and journaling
…and of course, time to jam!
